BC&C pair join ranks of solicitors

Hong Kong, 27 January 2022: Boase Cohen & Collins’ proud tradition of nurturing homegrown legal talent continues with Jennifer Lee and Angie Liu becoming the latest members of our legal team to be admitted as solicitors.

Work colleagues, family members and friends were present at the High Court to see the pair formally admitted, the culmination of years of law studies and a two-year traineeship with the firm.

“Many congratulations to Jennifer and Angie, they are excellent young legal professionals who are destined for outstanding careers. Their progress underscores our commitment to developing homegrown talent and offering young lawyers a clear career path,” said BC&C Senior Partner Colin Cohen.

“We now have 13 lawyers at either Senior Associate or Associate level who completed their traineeships with us and are growing with the firm. With their commitment, knowledge and thoroughly modern outlook, they represent the future of Boase Cohen & Collins.”

Jennifer (pictured left) obtained her law degree from the University of Birmingham in 2016. Upon returning to Hong Kong, she gained considerable work experience in the legal profession by working as a paralegal at two international law firms, whilst simultaneously studying for her Master of Laws degree at the University of Hong Kong.  She then completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at City University, where she was included on the Dean’s List.

Angie earned her Bachelor of Laws degree at City University, receiving four academic scholarships/awards during her studies and spending a significant portion of her spare time on pro bono work and community activities. She also received her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from City University and was included on the Dean’s List with Distinction.

40+ years of legal experience is just a click away.
