Back to business in Tel Aviv

Hong Kong, 21 September 2022: Our Partner Alex Liu welcomed the chance to meet Ally Law colleagues old and new at the organisation’s EMEA Regional Meeting in Tel Aviv last week. Dozens of delegates from Europe, the Middle East and Africa, plus others from further afield, descended on the Israeli city for three days of gatherings, presentations and social activities.

“The recent relaxing of Hong Kong’s quarantine rules has made business travel more feasible, so this was an ideal opportunity to reconnect with our Ally Law friends and enjoy some useful networking. It was an excellent meeting with a varied and interesting programme,” says Alex.

The meeting, held at Tel Aviv’s David Intercontinental, included substantive sessions on cyber security, innovation and technology, digital health and law firm sustainability. It also allowed Alex to catch up with Alon Pomeranc, Managing Partner with host firm Lipa Meir, an old friend from their MBA studies at Chicago’s Northwestern University.

BC&C is Hong Kong’s sole member of Ally Law, a worldwide grouping of more than 70 independent law firms which acts as a referral network and provides comprehensive legal services to major corporations.
