Overview

Jonathan studied for his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Nottingham in the UK. He then completed a Master’s degree in Law and Finance at Queen Mary University of London where he wrote his dissertation on Brexit and its effects on UK insolvency law, while simultaneously earning his Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from City University of Hong Kong.

Before joining BC&C as a Trainee Solicitor in early 2023, he gained considerable work experience with Hong Kong law firms and barristers chambers, latterly as a Paralegal in the litigation and regulatory department of an international law firm. Away from the office, Jonathan is a keen basketball player and has participated in volunteer programmes with Christian Action, Habitat for Humanity and ORBIS.
